Term: Punk (logging)
Definition:
1. Any young man, but specifically a whistle punk. 2. A bad spot in the wood caused by an injury to the tree when it was young. See blind-punk. 3. Bread. 4. Wood so decayed as to be dry, crumbly, and useful for tinder. View more information about logging elsewhere at wisconsinhistory.org
