Arranging a School Tour
School group tours are available at First Capitol May through October
each year. Reservations can be made year round. Follow
the links at the left to learn more about what to expect
from your school tour, then contact the site at 608-987-2122
or by e-mail to
reserve a date and time. Reservations must be made
at least three weeks before your visit. Here are some
things you may want to know to help you plan your tour:
- Average tour length is approximately 20-30 minutes.
- Tour is free of charge.
- Ready access to First Capitol from Highway151
- Free bus and van parking
- A public picnic area is located near First Capitol at Belmont Mound State Park.
