The Historical Society Library is an official depository for local, state, and federal
government publications. The Archives houses original records from Wisconsin local and
state government governments.
The Historic Preservation Division assists communities, organizations, agencies and individuals with identifying and protecting archaeological sites, burial places and historic buildings in Wisconsin.
