In 1953, the ailing Boston Braves baseball team sought greener pastures in Milwaukee. Embraced by Wisconsin fans and led by future Hall of Famers Henry Aaron, Warren Spahn, Eddie Mathews and Red Schoendienst, they captured the major league World Championship four years later.
