On This Day in Wisconsin History...

Guitar virtuoso Steve Miller was born in Milwaukee on October 5, 1943. Taught guitar by Les Paul, inventor of the electric guitar, Miller studied comparative literature at UW-Madison, but that didn't stop him from recording classic rock hits "The Joker," "Take the Money and Run," and "Fly Like an Eagle." You, too, can find out what else happened on This Day In Wisconsin History or you can speak to the pompitous of love.
