Circus World Still Open Despite Storm Damage

image of the Circus World Museum
The show goes on today at Circus World in Baraboo, despite its Big Top being flattened by strong thunderstorms Monday night. Severe wind and rain hit the circus museum and performance venue about 10 o'clock Monday evening, damaging the big tent and leaving circus performers and museum staff working in the rain until midnight to salvage props and equipment. Nonetheless, the Big Top circus performances will continue in Circus World's Cookhouse Theater. Circus goers can expect to see most of the typical daily entertainment fare as staff and volunteers clean up the storm damage. The Tiger Adventure show will be up and going by Wednesday or Thursday of this week. For further information call Circus World Museum at 608-356-8341.
