WHS Press Celebrates with Big Book Giveaway!
Now is your chance to nominate your favorite school library or public library to win a complete set of Wisconsin Historical Society Press books in honor of our 150th birthday! This outstanding collection of more than 100 books, a $3,000 value, includes something for everyone, from Badger fans to Harley riders, from kids and families to students and scholars.
The winning library, chosen by random drawing, will take home the big prize, and the nominating individual will win one WHS Press title of his or her choice. The lucky winners will be announced on September 30, 2005, and the books will be awarded on October 17 at the WHS Press 150th Birthday Party, the grand finale to the Wisconsin Book Festival. The celebration begins at 7 p.m. in the Wisconsin Historical Society Lobby and Auditorium. This event is free and open to the public.
