Top 10 History-Making Wisconsin News Stories
In 2005 Wisconsin saw more than its share of death and destruction, the passing of three history-making Wisconsin natives, hard times for a pair of highly regarded museums, court cases that made national news, and amazing feats of athleticism. Continuing a year-end tradition begun in 2003, the Wisconsin Historical Society surveyed members of its staff to give some thought to the top 10 history-making Wisconsin news stories of 2005.
