Old World Wisconsin Announces Workshops
A new series of pioneer workshops designed to teach modern audiences time-honored skills and handicrafts of the 19th century begins at Old World Wisconsin in February 2006. The sessions will provide hands-on instruction and firsthand experience in a variety of trades and crafts that have all but disappeared from modern life. They range from spinning, hat making and quilting to handling teams of draft horses and 19th-century blacksmithing. Most workshops are geared for beginners so no prior experience is needed. Some workshops do require special attire and supplies, and all the workshops require advance registration. Visit the Old World Wisconsin Workshops page for complete details.
