Don't Miss Circus of Chefs ... The Gala 2007!
Many of southern Wisconsin's best chefs, brewmasters, vintners and other beverage purveyors will gather under one roof on Sunday evening, June 24, to serve samples of their finest cuisine, beer, wine and caffeinated concoctions during the annual Circus of Chefs ... The Gala 2007 at Circus World in Baraboo. And it's all being done for a good cause — all proceeds from the event will benefit Circus World.
The Gala offers guests an opportunity to sample some of the state's finest restaurant fare while browsing a wide assortment of silent and live auction goods that have been donated by event sponsors, area businesses and by the Wisconsin Historical Society and select business partners. Items range from weekend travel packages that include overnight stays and complimentary admission to Old World Wisconsin and the Wade House Civil War Weekend to a brand new Trek auto-shift Lime bicycle.
The festive fund-raiser will be held amid the color and splendor of the museum's priceless collection of hand-carved, antique circus wagons. After the food sampling and browsing, guests will settle in for the live auction and entertainment to follow by Circus World's incredible Acrobats of Circus China. In 2006 the auctions and contributions generated more than $119,000 to benefit Circus World.
