Old World Wisconsin Announces Fall Workshops
If you have ever thought that you would like to learn some of the commonplace trades and crafts that were prevalent in 19th-century Wisconsin villages and households, Old World Wisconsin may have just the thing to fill that need. The outdoor museum has announced its fall 2007 workshops that teach 21st-century visitors how to do tasks once considered routine, but which modern times have rendered rarities. Workshops cover a broad array of trades, crafts and skills ranging from spinning and broom making to oxen care and handling, and creating faux grain finishes.
Visit the Old World Wisconsin workshops page for a complete list. Contact the site to register by calling 262-594-6305 or via e-mail.
