Gala to Salute Five Wisconsin History Makers
The Wisconsin Historical Society will salute the lifetime achievements of five distinguished individuals with Wisconsin ties at the Third Annual Wisconsin History Makers Gala on Wednesday, May 14, at Milwaukee's historic Pfister Hotel beginning at 5:30 p.m. We invite you to attend this exciting evening and celebrate with cocktails, dinner and an awards ceremony for this year's recipients. The 2008 honorees include: philanthropists Drs. Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern of Waukesha; retired Green Bay Packers President and Chief Executive Officer Bob Harlan of Green Bay; founder of the Experimental Aircraft Association Paul H. Poberezny of Oshkosh; and renowned thoracic transplant surgeon, Dr. Alfred J. Tector of Milwaukee.
Last year's Gala was an overwhelming success and we're certain that history will repeat itself in 2008. Last year, more than 450 people enjoyed an evening that was both entertaining and inspirational. Don't miss this opportunity to be a part of history in the making. Tickets are $150 each. To order tickets by mail, please enclose a check made out to the Wisconsin Historical Foundation for the total amount and mail it to:
