Model A's and Other Magnificent Motor Cars
Ford, Studebaker, Pontiac, Chevrolet and Chrysler all join the circus this Saturday, August 22, for Circus World's Magnificent Motor Car Exhibition and Model A Exposition. The world-renowned entertainment venue and circus museum in Baraboo has hosted numerous car shows over the years, and this year, as part of its 50th anniversary celebration, it is showcasing Model A's and Model T's plus a fantastic aggregation of vintage cars. People's Choice Awards will be handed out for the top three finishers in four categories: 1910 and earlier, 1911 to 1920, 1921 to 1930 and 1931 to 1940.
Rare Photographs of Vintage Vehicles Also on Display
If you come you will also see 125 rare photographs of vintage vehicles as they were used in the circus. Some are whimsical, some are personal, but all showcase how vehicles of every make and model were utilized by the circus. The photographic collection dates from the late 1890s to the early 1940s and spotlights automobiles that were introduced to the public in circuses or were promoted through the use of animal acts and other famous performers. There are also several behind-the-scenes snapshots of early work trucks and other spectacular vehicles. Nearly every major manufacturer is represented as well as several that are uncommon today!
Plenty of Old-Fashioned Circus Fun and Treats for All Comers
All are welcome to enjoy this incredible exhibition along with two spectacular circus performances, two dynamite magic shows and a full range of other exciting programs and demonstrations. See the daily performance schedule for times.
