If you work or volunteer for a local historical society or museum, one or more in a series of spring workshops the Society is offering jointly with the Wisconsin Federation of Museums may be exactly what you need to elevate your skills to the next level. These workshops for museums and local history organizations cover topics ranging from programming for school children, caring for archaeological collections and fundraising to exhibit development on a budget. The workshop locations crisscross the state: Oshkosh, Prairie du Chien, Madison (with a special live online viewing option) and Sheboygan. Here's the spring 2010 lineup:

To Register

Each workshop is $35 for Wisconsin Federation of Museums members or Wisconsin Historical Society affiliate members, $60 for non-members. Download a registration form (PDF 77KB).
