Summer is the season for the Wisconsin Historical Society and the Wisconsin Council for Local History to conduct their regional conventions. Local history organizations from each of the state's 10 regions have organized meetings throughout the summer. With the variety of locations and programs to choose from, you can select the location or topics that best suit your schedule and your interests.

Each Convention Offers a Unique Agenda

Each local historical society host plans a unique agenda and experience that feature presentations by local historians and updates from the Society. You'll also have the opportunity to talk with local history colleagues and learn what others are doing in the field. Every meeting will wrap up with a variety of tours of local sites or engaging local history programs.

For Complete Details and Registration Information

You can learn more about and register for any of these meetings by downloading the detailed conference schedule and registration form (PDF 120 KB). The schedule lists meeting locations, dates, times, registration fees and deadlines. We will also post detailed agendas for each meeting here as they become available. Mark your calendars and plan to join your colleagues at one of this year's regional conventions.
