Celebrate Christmas at the Historic Sites

Christmas revelers in Old World Wisconsin's 1870s Crossroads Village

With another regular season in the history books, several of Wisconsin's historic sites are gearing up for postseason special events. Villa Louis will hold its Servants' Supper on Saturday, December 4. And there are more festive Christmas events in store at Old World Wisconsin and Wade House. A Wade House Christmas on Saturday and Sunday, December 4-5, will offer a glimpse at mid-19th-century German and Yankee holiday traditions while Old World Wisconsin will celebrate The Spirit of Christmas Past on Saturday and Sunday, December 4-5 and December 11-12. That event will feature a multicultural look at 19th-century Christmas traditions.

Also at Old Wisconsin, the cultural focus will be on Belgian immigrants and their cuisine when the Old World Wisconsin Foundation presents its Belgian Holiday Dinner on Saturday and Sunday, December 4-5 and December 11-12. One week later, guests can enjoy Breakfast with Father Christmas on Saturday and Sunday, December 18-19.
