Do the 'Bustle Hustle' at Old World Wisconsin

A pair of Bustle Hustle runners in 19th-century attire

What better way is there to shake off the doldrums of a long Wisconsin winter than to get outside in the spring air and take part in the second annual Bustle Hustle 5K Run/Walk at Old World Wisconsin on Sunday, May 1? Runners and walkers will enjoy a beautiful setting unfettered by the trappings of 21st-century life as they make their way through the outdoor museum's 1870s crossroads village, past 19th-century farms and beside bucolic pastures, and up and down the rolling hills of the wooded Kettle Moraine State Forest land. Participants will also likely encounter sheep, horses or oxen in the fields along the way.

Times, Ticket Information and Registration

Registration begins at 8:30 am. The run/walk begins at 10 am, and a separate 1K youth race begins at 11 am. The museum opens at noon. Pre-race tickets for adults and senior citizens are $18, and day-of tickets are $22. Pre-race tickets for children 12 and younger are $14, and day-of tickets are $18. You can download a printable registration form and race course map (PDF 246 KB) or register online. Many thanks to our event sponsor, InStep.
