The festive "History on the Square" logo

The Wisconsin Historical Society invites you to attend History on the Square, a celebration in appreciation of Society supporters — past, present and future — on Saturday, October 1, from 1 – 3:30 p.m. at the Wisconsin Historical Museum on Madison's Capitol Square. Enjoy a unique opportunity to connect to your past by exploring the Society's best work from around the state — all in one location.

Intriguing Exhibits, Demonstrations and Children's Activities

This event will feature intriguing museum exhibits, captivating demonstrations, colorful costumed characters, children's activities, door prizes and much more. Be among the first to view the museum's fascinating new Wisconsin Innovations exhibit, get a free scoop of Fresh Frozen Custard from Culver's, and spend an afternoon reveling in some of the great stories of our past.

Share Your Love of Wisconsin History

History on the Square is free and open to the public. Show your support for the Society by bringing your friends and family members. Attendees who become a member or purchase a gift membership at the event will receive a special discount and will be entered in a drawing to win a variety of prizes.

Attention History Guardian Members and Above

Don't forget to RSVP! You are cordially invited to a History on the Square private evening reception. If you have any questions, please contact Laura Ingersoll at 608-264-6543 or via email.
