Lambeau Field Launch for New Packers Book
Join the Wisconsin Historical Society Press and the Wisconsin Historical Foundation for the exclusive book launch event at Lambeau Field in Green Bay for "Green Bay Packers: Trials, Triumphs, and Tradition" on Monday, July 23. Meet author William Povletich, and receive your signed copy of the new book, published by the Wisconsin Historical Society Press. The book tells the improbable story of professional football's most iconic team, along the way providing a unique window into the rise of modern professional sports. As the NFL has evolved into a financial juggernaut, the Green Bay Packers stand alone as the only professional sports franchise owned by fans, thus providing the only public record of how a sports team is run.

In addition to author Bill Povletich, former Packer Jim Temp will be on hand for the event. Come learn about their moments in Packer history and Packer business history. Attendees receive a copy of 'Green Bay Packers: Trials, Triumphs, and Tradition' signed by the author. But space is limited, and advance tickets are required.
