Each year the Wisconsin Historical Society recognizes individuals and organizations for outstanding work in the field of Wisconsin history. This year the Society's governing Board of Curators selected eight award winners in seven specific categories of awards: books; genealogy and family history; archival achievement; historic restoration; museum exhibits; public programs; and achievements in local history. An independent panel of judges evaluated award nominations and selected the winners based on the quality of their work.

And the Winners Are ...

The Wisconsin Historical Society commends and congratulates each of the award recipients for their achievements in documenting and preserving Wisconsin history in its varied forms.
