Spooky Halloween Events at Old World Wisconsin

Two jack-o-lanterns fashioned from pumpkins cast an eerie glow, symbolizing the spirit of Halloween

Get in the mood for Halloween with a series of eerie Halloween storytelling events at Old World Wisconsin in October. The fun begins with three weekends of spooky fun and tasty dining that awaits those who partake in Old World Wisconsin's Halloween Dinner Theater: Wake Not the Dead. The evening adventures begin with a themed, harvest meal, followed by a lamp-lit stroll to a live drama that will thrill and chill you. This dramatic performance will feature "The Monkey's Paw" and tales of Edgar Allan Poe, Bram Stoker and other high-spirited nightmares. Enjoy a Victorian Halloween filled with ghosts, ghoulies and other things best left at rest. This performance has been exclusively adapted for Old World Wisconsin. Take your pick of dinner theater performances, review the dinner menu and learn all the details:

Halloween Legends and Lore

Old World Wisconsin will also celebrate the legends immigrants brought with them and the folklore they created with a new activity and storytelling event, Halloween Legends and Lore, to be held the third and fourth weekends of October. The events, sponsored by WaterStone Bank, will highlight Wisconsin ghost stories from the 19th and early 20th centuries, mingled with the folk and fairytales of the Old World. Spooky and fun daytime activities will combine with macabre and magical nighttime stories. Visit any WaterStone Bank branch for a coupon good for $2 off the admission price. Learn more details about Halloween Legends and Lore, and view a video about the events.
