Wisconsin's Historic Buildings

The Office of Historic Buildings documents and records historic architecture statewide; serves as a clearinghouse for information on historic architecture; and funds local history research to increase public understanding of the past. The office maintains the statewide architecture and history inventory, administers the State Register and National Register, administers survey and inventory subgrants, and provides educational services.
