Q: How do I know if I have a Burial Site on my property?
Q: Can I be notified if a burial site a relative is buried in has a threat of being disturbed?
Yes. The Burial Sites Preservation law requires the Burial Sites Preservation Program to establish a registry of individuals whom the Burial Sites Preservation Board determines to have a legitimate interest in a cataloged burial site or class of burial sites.
Any person interested in applying to be on the registry can complete the Registry of Interested Persons Application. The completed application must be received 30 days prior to the next meeting.
