Ancient Cuisine and Victory Gardens

Pope Farm Park is an educational park located on the west side of Middleton. It contains unusual geological features, diverse plant communities, and a varied set of agricultural crops. Join archaeologists from the Wisconsin Historical Society for a walking tour of the Pope Farm Park and the Native American and WWI Victory gardens that have been planted at the park. Learn about the Eastern Agricultural Complex, how Indian women changed what we eat, and about the Victory gardens planted during WWI. The tour will last about 45 minutes and will require some walking.
