Time Capsule Ceremony and "Burial"

The De Pere Historical Society will be burying a time capsule in commemoration of the city's sesquicentennial. The ceremony and "burial" will take place at the Polo Resto, located at the entrance to Voyager Park, in De Pere. The mayor, other dignitaries, and Historical Society Board members will be present.

While 2007 marked the City of De Pere's 150th anniversary of the incorporation of the village of De Pere, that later became the city itis today, the Historical Society decided to conduct the time capsule event during Historic Preservation Month, thus allowing itself the entire year of 2007 to gather material for the capsule.
