Reunion of Manitowoc-built Submarine Crews and Builders
Join us in honoring and learning from the crews and builders of the 28 Manitowoc-built submarines. This reunion will offer a chance to visit with shipmates, co-workers and friends, and to honor the brave crews of the four Manitowoc-built submarines lost during World War II.
The premier event will be the USS
Lagarto Remembrance Ceremony, honoring the submarine's crew on the 65th anniversary of its loss in battle and the fifth anniversary of its discovery in the Gulf of Thailand.
We are proud to hold this event in celebration of Wisconsin Historic Preservation and Archaeology Month.
