Geographical Settlement of the Wisconsin Holyland
Mary-Beth Schlemper, whose doctoral dissertation, "From the German Eifel Region to Wisconsin's Holyland: 19th-Century Immigration and Contemporary Identity," documents immigration to the region in northeastern Fond du Lac County, will discuss the findings of her research. She will also discuss unique features of the Wisconsin Holyland and her plans for future research.
