Artifact Identification Show
This event coincides with Wisconsin Archaeology Month and will bring archaeologists and collections from UW - La Crosse and UW - Madison as well as collections from the Sauk County Historical Society collection.
Please bring your collection. Archaeologists will provide identifications, time frames and explanations. It should be informative for the public and will provide archaeologists with an opportunity to learn more about an area that was extremely important in the development of Wisconsin.
Though collectors are encouraged to bring in artifacts for identification, the archaeologists will not appraise the value of artifacts or allow collectors to buy or sell artifacts at the show.
