Cultural Resource Planning in Wisconsin
A One-Day Training Program

Who Should Attend?

Historic Preservation Commission Members
Local Historical Society Members
Professional and Citizen Planners
Local Government Officials

This one-day conference is a unique opportunity to provide historic preservationists, local government officials and planners with a common language and set of tools in their efforts to preserve significant historic resources in their community and across Wisconsin.

The program has been designed to provide historic preservationists with an introduction to comprehensive planning and how a good comprehensive plan can “set the stage” for important advancements in preserving a community's historic resources.

At the same time, this one-day workshop should provide local government officials and planners, both professional and citizen, with a solid introduction to professionally-accepted preservation terms and tools used in Wisconsin and nationwide.
