WHPD Public Access Terminal
We are pleased to announce that our Wisconsin Historic Preservation Database is now available for use by authorized researchers!
We have opened a resource room on the 3rd floor of the Wisconsin Historical Society building which is dedicated to outside users of WHPD. The public terminal allows for direct access to our inventories of Wisconsin's archaeological and burial sites as well as historic properties.
To use the WHPD public terminal, we ask that you reserve a time slot ahead of time (either by phoning your contact within the Division, or calling Amy Wyatt at (608) 264-6506.
Once you arrive for your reserved time, we ask that you sign a user agreement.
A printer is available in the WHPD Resource Room for printing site records and maps, for a fee of 15¢ per page. In order to print, you must purchase a printing card at our Front Desk. Printing cards are available in $5 and $20 denominations. Payment can be made with cash or check.
