WHPD Public Access Terminal

The Wisconsin Historic Preservation Database (WHPD) is available for use by authorized researchers by visiting the 3rd floor of the Wisconsin Historical Society building. The public terminal allows for direct access to our inventories of Wisconsin's archaeological and burial sites as well as historic properties.

To use the WHPD public terminal, we ask that you reserve a time slot ahead of time (either by phoning your contact within the Division, or calling Amy Wyatt at 608-264-6506.

Once you arrive for your reserved time, we ask that you sign a user agreement.

A printer is available in the WHPD Resource Room for printing site records and maps, for a fee of 15¢ per page. In order to print, you must purchase a printing card at our Front Desk. Printing cards are available in $5 and $20 denominations. Payment can be made with cash or check.
