Dress with Wool Cape

Caddies's cotton dress came from Sheffield, England and Mrs. Edward Blinko brought it with her to Maine, Wisconsin about 1855. The wool cape lined with silk was worn by Mary Lydia Greene, who was born in 1860. She wore it from 1868-1870 in Milwaukee. Both the dress and the cape are in the textile collection of the Wisconsin Historical Society.
