Frank Lloyd Wright Building Plans
A collection of correspondence and plans documenting an un-built private home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rentz of Madison, Wisconsin. The correspondence includes letters between Rentz and Wright regarding the proposed budget, the canceling of the project, and the return of the plans to Wright. The drawings show elevation and section plans; window, louvers, trellis, fireplace, and carport details; and framing, heating, and lighting plans.

Wendell Willkie Papers
Papers, 1934-1945, 1960, of Wendell Willkie, a lawyer from Indiana and president of Commonwealth and Southern Corporation, who was the 1940 Republican Presidential candidate against Franklin D. Roosevelt. The bulk of the materials consist of speeches Willkie gave between 1934 and 1944 and news clippings and releases surrounding his death on October 8th, 1944. Also included are pages from the diary of Lamoyne Jones, a member of Willkie’s campaign staff and compiler of these papers. In addition, there is a Supreme Court brief for which Willkie was the petitioner and an issue of True Comics with a chapter dramatizing Willkie’s life. The photographs depict Willkie visiting U.S. military training camps during World War II.

Thomas Fairchild Papers
Additions to the papers of former Wisconsin State Supreme Court and Federal judge Thomas E. Fairchild consisting of genealogical material (1785-1995) including correspondence and writings of the Endress family, particularly those of attorney and judge Isaac Endress, deeds, financial documents, photographs and negatives, and miscellaneous ephemera. Also included are the papers and correspondence of Edward Fairchild to Helen Endress (parents of Thomas Fairchild) and documents relating to the senatorial campaign of Thomas Fairchild.
