German Research: Conducting Effective Genealogical Research in Germany & Germanic Europe
David McDonald, CGSM, of DeForest will lead a morning-long seminar on genealogical research in Germany. Sessions will include an historical overview of Germany and the Germanic regions of central Europe; matters of religion and the use of parish registers in research; vital records research in modern Germany; and immigration records and citizenship papers to further research efforts in America.
