Genealogy: Tracing Your German-American Roots

It can be a daunting task to locate the hometown of your German immigrant ancestor. This class will help identify locations of records and research strategies for using these records to uncover your German ancestors both here and in the old country.

Instructors: Antje Petty, assistant director of the Max Kade Institute for German-American Studies, and Lori Bessler, reference librarian at the Wisconsin Historical Society Library and Archives
