Most of the twelve million pages or items that make up the McCormick International Harvester Collection cannot be viewed on this website.  To date we have scanned and mounted thousands of documents and images from the collection.  However, the entire collection is described in the Archives Online Catalog (ArCat).  Please note that the descriptions in ArCat are very general in nature - a single paragraph may be used to describe thousands of items.

• Photographs and Advertising: Several thousand digital images from the McCormick-International Harvester Collection.
• International Harvester Paint Committee and Product Identification Committee Decisions, 1924-1964: Over 1,000 pages outlining the original color schemes for  International Harvester agricultural equipment, industrial equipment and trucks.
• Farm Equipment Paint Chart, 1940: A paint chart printed by International Harvester in 1940 that shows 16 original IH colors.
• Art of the Draw:  An online exhibit of advertising posters from the McCormick-International Harvester Collection.

Other Information Resources

• A Guide to the McCormick Collection was published by the Society in 1973. This guide describes McCormick Family papers and company records received prior to 1964. The guide does not cover most of the Society's holdings for the International Harvester Company.  This publication may be ordered from our list of guides.
