Borrowing Material through Interlibrary Loan: Information for Libraries
Information for Researchers is located here.
Interlibrary lending at the Wisconsin Historical Society (OCLC symbol WIH) is now handled by the University of Wisconsin-Madison Libraries, via Wisconsin Library Services (WiLS).
Wisconsin Historical Society materials are still available through interlibrary loan, by following either of these steps:
- OCLC: Send requests to symbol WIH or GZM. Either way, requests will be fielded by UW-Madison staff.
- Non-OCLC: Submit your requests online using UW-Madison's webform. To establish a login and password for the webform, call 608-262-6068 or email gzmlend@wils.wisc.edu. Please do not email or fax requests to either the Historical Society or UW-Madison.
UW-Madison's lending policies, charges and limits apply to Wisconsin Historical Society loans. A full description of the policies is available at http://www.wils.wisc.edu/lend/, and in the OCLC Policies Directory entries for GZM and WIH.
