Governor’s Archives Awards

The Wisconsin Historical Records Advisory Board and the Wisconsin Historical Society are now accepting nominations for the 2008 Governor’s Archives Award. These annual awards, sponsored by both the Board and the Society, recognize outstanding work in historical records preservation and access in Wisconsin. In addition to an award certificate signed by the Governor, winners also receive a $500 gift certificate from Demco, Inc.

Each year the Wisconsin Historical Records Advisory Board and the Wisconsin Historical Society honor individuals, programs and organizations working with historical records with the Governor's Archives Award. The Governor's Archives Award can be given for three categories: archival achievement, archival innovation, and archival advocacy.
