Halloween Week at the Wisconsin Historical Museum: The Life and Works of August Derleth
August Derleth is Wisconsin's most prolific writer with more than 150 books to his credit. Describing his life in his home town and the surrounding countryside, he wrote, "I found I must choose, between going out into the wider world, or traveling widely in the microcosm of Sac Prairie." David Schweitzer uses his own theater background to share cherished bits and pieces of August Derleth writings for audiences in this presentation.
