PRINT OF JAMES HORLICK (1844-1921) published in Vanity Fair magazine, London, England, March 10, 1909. James Horlick moved back to England in the 1890s to manage the company's European, Asian, and African affairs. The company began to manufacture malted milk in England in 1906. Spun off as a separate company after James' death, Horlick's, Ltd. of England eventually purchased its American counterpart in 1945.
