Metalwork
All three of these pieces represent intricate craftsmanship in traditional Norwegian metalwork. Not made of precious metals, these items derive their value from their delicate, handmade construction. Such jewelry traditionally was worn on everyday clothing but is now used to accessorize folk costumes worn for special occasions.
