Arranging a School Tour
School group tours are available at Pendarvis May through
October each year. Reservations can be made year round.

reserve a date and time. Reservations must be made
at least three weeks before your visit. Here are some
things you may want to know to help you plan your tour:
- Average tour length is one hour for 15 visitors. Larger groups
will be divided into sub-groups of 15, with each
sub-group starting 10 minutes after the previous
group. For example, a group of 30 visitors with
a 10 a.m. tour will be split into two sub-groups
of 15 and then group one will start at 10 and
finish at 11 while group two will start at 10:10
and finish at 11:10.
- Tour cost is $3.20 per student and $6.80 per adult. One adult (teacher
or other chaperon) is required to accompany each
group of 15 students on tour. Required adults are free of charge. Additional
adult chaperons are welcome, but will be charged the adult group fee.
- Pendarvis is readily available from Highway 151.
- Free bus and van parking
- Many convenient eating establishments in Mineral Point
- A public picnic area is located near the Pendarvis parking lot.
