polperro-at- pendarvis.jpg

This stone-and-log house, which bears the Cornish name Polperro, was built in the 1840s by immigrant Cornish miners who flocked to Mineral Point in territorial Wisconsin during the region's lead-mining boom. It is one of three structures that comprise the Pendarvis historic site.
