Front Hall of the Villa Louis

The grand front hall of the Villa Louis mansion, now restored to its William Morris-inspired British Arts and Crafts heyday in the 1890s, welcomes visitors into one of the most authentically restored house museums in the nation. Extensive archival documentation maintained by the Dousman family allowed curators to restore the first-floor rooms to near perfection.
