The 1880s Koepsell Farm at Old World Wisconsin

The Koepsell House, centerpiece of the 1880 Koepsell Farm in the museum's German area, was built in the Washington County town of Jackson in 1858 by carpenter and master builder Friedrich Koepsell. The house provides an outstanding example of Fachwerk, or half-timbered, architecture imported to Wisconsin by German immigrants.
