Town Meeting, 13 December

At a Meeting of the Freeholders, and other Inhabitants of the Town of Dorchester, qualified as the Constitution directs, for voting for Representatives, December the 13th. 1787—Legally warned—

Voted, To send two Persons to meet in Convention, at the State House in Boston, on the second Wednesday of January next, for the Purpose of assenting to, and ratifying the Constitution, or Frame of Government, for the United States of America.

James Bowdoin Junr. Esqr. and Ebenezer Wales Esqr. were elected by a Majority of Votes.
