Town Meeting, 17 December

At a Meeting of the Freeholders and other Inhabitants of the Town of New Braintree Qualified by Law to Vote of a Representative legally Warned and assembled at the Meeting-House in Said New Braintree on Monday the 17th. Day of December A.D. 1787—proceeded as follows viz—

Firstly The Constitution or Frame of Government for the United States of America, being Red by the Town Clerk

2ndly. Voted that the Town will Choose a Delegate to meet in Convention at Boston on ye Second Wednesday of Januy next for the purpose of Considering said Constitution &c

3dly. Voted and Chose Capt. Benja. Joslyn a Delegate for the abovementiond purpose
