I have but one moment, in which I have the pleasure to inform you that at least 2/3rds. of both Houses are federal. General Lincoln had 133. votes of 199.—in the case of the Speaker the majority was 99 to 47.—The list of councillors was carried by a still larger majority. In senate Lincoln had 20 to 8.—The people are coming to their sences and the first evidence is their discernment of their true friends. …
