Spend a day exploring more recent Wisconsin history through the pioneering
architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright at his fabled Taliesin estate.
The complex includes Wright's legendary Taliesin residence,
Hillside Home School and three other Wright-designed
structures. All tours
begin at the Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center, located
at Highway 23 and County C. After lunch head west 22
miles on Highway 60 to Muscoda and tour the Ho-Chunk
Nation Muscoda
Bison Ranch & Farm.
Come face to face with the Ho-Chunk Nation's rich heritage
and view hundreds of grazing bison. Continue west 15
miles on Highway 60 and stop in the quaint town of Boscobel.
Visit the Old Rock School, the Boscobel Depot Museum
and Central House Boscobel Hotel, where you can top off
your trip through Wisconsin history with a homemade meal
and good old-fashioned Wisconsin hospitality. Your whirlwind
trip through history is coming to a close. We hope you'll
return for another heritage tour in Wisconsin.
