    More than just learning about postage stamps, this activity challenges students to think critically about Wisconsin history. Students will determine which people and events they feel are the most important in Wisconsin history. They will then compare their list to the Wisconsin events and people that have been commemorated on stamps.
  • Secondary: La Crosse Remembers World War II (Pages 9-10)
    La Crosse High School students work with area veterans to create oral histories of their WWII experiences at home and abroad.

The Local Scene: Local History: White Lake on Stage (Page 12)
A successful collaboration between the White Lake Historical Society and the White Lake High School produces a play that tells the story of their community.
