Event Information
The National History
Day program includes a progressive contest cycle open to students
in grades 6-12. Regional History Day events are normally held
in February or March. Some schools have a local event prior
to the regional event. Regional winners advance to the state
event held at the Wisconsin Historical Society and the University
of Wisconsin - Madison in late April/early May. State winners
advance to the national contest held each June at the University
of Maryland in College Park.
